WebYes, it basically numbs your entire urinary tract, or at least that's been my experience. YMMV of course. And yeah, that's what you need to do. I've actually never had a UTI where they didn't do a culture. It's pretty typical. It does take 24-48 hours to get results, but it pretty much guarantees a cure.
